Organic Farming & Agricultural Initiatives | KCCS

Background of Organic Farming Initiatives of KCCS and its proposed projects

Organic farming with scientific method is an only solution to revive Indian as well as world agriculture, which has been deteriorated in the past 75 years of excessive usage of synthetic fertilizers, fungicides, weedicides, pesticides and other poisonous chemical applications through green revolution of INDIAN Agriculture. Though in-organic synthetic fertilizer agriculture has yielded some results on the productivity of wheat, paddy and sugarcane, but failed in restoring ecology & environment, quality production of agriculture produce, long run yield also drastically reduced, polluted air, water and soil, high cost in production, bio-diversity loss, leguminous natural nitrogen fixing plats, pro-biotic micro organisms vanished, also it has resulted poor quality food, not supported strengthening the immune system of the consumers, which is incurred more cost on Hospital expenditure rather food products. Moreover, nowadays, the awareness among consumers increased on organic quality food products. It has resulted among the end users to celebrate the new beginning of Organic India.
With wrong farming methods, we turn fertile land into desert.

Unless we go back to organic farming and save the soil, there is no future. A farmer does not grow crops. A farmer creates an environment where crops can grow. Which are the new dimension and scope of Indian Agriculture and its allied activities? In this back drop, KCCS initiated an INDO-JAPAN ORGANIC FARMING project to test its BLOF- method of organic farming to reduce input cost and increase yield thereby to achieve the goals of sustainable development in agriculture and food security.

It has proposed to save many farmer lives and gain prominence with local, city dwellers. Thankfully, some have taken it upon themselves to produce or support farmers who produce crops without the use of genetically modified organisms, artificial fertilisers, pesticides and livestock feed additives. We have proposed to take up much agriculture start up project among them we proposed the best organic farm pilot of 5 acres Farm at Kanchipuram District of Tamilnadu,INDIA where we proposed to demonstrate a scientific organic farming design with right packages of practices adopting digital farming method such as IT enabled IOT and data science, which helps , how a farmer can produce high quality nutritious, high value immune boosting food products to the needy consumers or the end user, which is efficient, economical, affordable and sustainable. Also this project aim to replicate to get fresh, unadulterated produce from other members of farmers across India, which we have planned to cover up 5 lakhs farmers and capture 80 percentage of GLOBAL organic market and 95 percentage of local organic and ultimately KCCS will help to double the income of farmer and also support the revival of Indian Agriculture in a scientific way through public private partnership and with the collaboration of JAPAN ( BIO-FARM and JOFA, JICA.

Henceforth, “The organic story is larger than just the healthy benefits of clean, nutritious foods. Organic farming, whether tomatoes, medicinal plants, green manure plants, plantation crops, rice, sugar cane, fodder, food grains, grapes, cotton or flowers, help protect our environment- it’s that simple.”

“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”

The new way of healthy living….. Our IT enabled services, Market linkages for existing farmers and standing crops, the immediate project is to develop KCCS portal and apps.

KCCS portal is a one stop solution for facilitating organic farmers to sell their organic produce and promoting organic farming and its benefits. This portal caters various stakeholders like local customary groups, individual farmers, FPOs, EAGs, SHGs, CLGs, street vegetable vendors of head load, direct consumer supply, buyers, sellers, agriculture logistic and infrastructure supporters etc. and input suppliers.
