1. Who can study Japanese Langauge ?

Anyone who has interest to study a language can also study Japanese language. However Japan and Japanese Companies encourage more of young engineers.

2. Is there any Age Limit for Japanese Language studies?

There is no age limit for Japanese language study. Anyone between 8 to 80 Years can study the language.

3. What are the opportunities for Engineers and Non Engineers

There are lot of Bilingual IT and Design Engineers while there are some Language specialist for Translation and Interpretation services

4. I am a mid aged House Wife. Can i Study Japanese ? What is the use of it?

There are lot of Womens at the Mid age in INDIA are studying Japanese and getting Jobs to work in Corporate companies or work from home.

5. I am a school student in my 8th Grade. Can i study ?

School students can catch up the language faster and quicker. It helps for them to seek and get admissions in Japan with good scholarship options.

6. What are the Japanese Exams available?

There are few Japanese language exams such as JLPT, NAT and Business Japanese.

7. Does the Japanese Exams mandatory for Jobs ?

As long as the person can read write and speak good japanese at Business level, certification is not mandatory however JLPT and NAT exams are becoming the evaluation standards for Japanese Language skills.

8. I am an working Employee. How Can i study Japanese?

You can spare your free time and week ends to study Japanese. it takes 4 or 5 months to complete the first level. Similarly each level takes about 4 to 6 months with sincere and serious consistent efforts.

9. What is the duration of the courses?

For Full Time Learners, Each level takes about 2.5 Months for N5 and N4 and 3 to 4 months full time for N3 and 4 to 6 Months Full time for N2 and so on.

10. Whem is the Exam Schedule of JLPT and NAT?

JLPT is scheduled every 6 months while NAT is scheduled for every two months once.

11. How difficult is the exams?

It has three sections viz Grammer, Kanji and Listening. With Proper preparation and Consistent effort, it will become easy to clear else it becomes difficult.

12. How much of the pass percent of the Exams?

Generally the pass percent is around 50% on an average

14. What are the salary levels of the Japanese certified Graduates?

For N3 Certified Fresher, Japanese Yen around 2 Lakh Yen
For N2 Certified Fresher, Japanese Yen around 2.5 Lakh Yen
For N3 Certified Experienced(Around 3 Years) in Technical field, Japanese Yen around 3 Lakh to 3.5 Lakhs per month
For N2 Certified Experienced(Around 3 Years) in Technical field, Japanese Yen around 4 Lakh to 5 Lakhs per month
For Very Rare Skills and Experience in any field without Japanese, Japanese Yen around 4 Lakhs
For Very Rare Skills and Experience in any field with Japanese N3 and above, Japanese Yen around 5 to 6 Lakhs

15. Do go for Higher education in Japan, does the Japanese Language Mandatory?

Not required. But for Survival, we need Japanese Language N5 and N4. For Applying Scholarship and get good fee waivers, Japanese level N3 is required.

16. What is the most wanted technical jobs in Japan or INDIA?

IT, Mechanical Design, Engineers, Hotel Management etc.,

17. How much i should score to pass the Japanese exam ?

80 Marks out of 180 is the pass mark for N5
90 Marks out of 180 is the pass mark for N4
95 Marks out of 180 is the pass mark for N3
90 Marks out of 180 is the pass mark for N2
100 Marks out of 180 is the pass mark for N1

19. Do the Certifications necessary or Spoken important for the Jobs?

Both Certification and Spoken are important to get job in INDIA or in JAPAN.

20. Who certify the japanese exams?

JLPT is certified Japan Educational Exchanges and Services & Japan Foundation
NAT is certified by Senmon Kyouiku Publishing Co., Ltd.

21. I am interested but i am away from Cities. How can i do my distant studies?

You can study distance education with KCCS by attending 6 hours every month
You can also take up the skype classes through internet

22. What is the minimum Japanese level to get the Jobs in INDIA and JAPAN?

This is not mandatory but In general
N5 & N4 is the Minimum level though which one get the job in INDIA
N5, N4 and N3 is the Minimum level though which one get the job in JAPAN

23. Do you have an option to study in Japan for short term or long term. Please explain.

Yes. You can study Japanese in Japan for one Year.
University students can also do the research scholarship for 6 months to one year.

24. Where do i study Japanese Language in Japan ?

KCCS has tied up with few schools in TOKYO, OSAKA and NAGOYA where you can get admissions and study

25. What is approximate cost of the Japanese Studies in Japan.

Approximate cost of Japanese studies in Japan is around 30,000 INR per month which is only the Tuition fee.
There are food, accomodation and transport which can be managed by Part time Income which is roughly around 70,000 INR per month.
Fee can paid fully for one Year or Six Months once or Three Months once.

26. What is the advantage of studying Japanese in Japan over studying in INDIA?

Studying in Japan will help to improve the Spoken Japanese fast and also studying in Japan will have a part time work option which will help
for Survival.

27. Where can i study in Chennai? How many centers across ?

We have KCCS presence in Tamilnadu, Andhra, Telengana, Karnataka, Kerala and Pondy.
In Chennai, we have centers across Vadapalani, Porur, T.Nagar, Velachery & Besant Nagar

28. Do you have center in banglaore ? Where ?

We have our Center in JP Nagar at bangalore.

29. Is there any difference in Certifcation for distant studies or classroom studies.?

There is no distance or classroom certifications but all is JLPT and NAT certification standard.

30. What are the different types of Visas for Japan ?

Business Visa, Visitor Visa, Entertainment Visa, Work Visa, Dependent Visa & Rufugee Visa etc.,

31. What is the PR/Citizen process for Japan?

One has to stay in Japan for about 12 Years continuously to become Permanent Resident PR and Citizen is not common in Japan for foreigners.

32.I do not know Japanese. Can i travel to Japan for work ?

Yes. If the skill that you posses is very rare and not available in Japan, you can travel to Japan for work.
There are lot of Engineers working with translators and interpreters to support the technical teams.

33. What is the Japanese level required for TITP Visa ?

TITP visa require atleast N5 level of Japanese thoguh not mandatory.

34. I am student of a college ? Can i study Japanese ?

Yes College Students can consider Japanese as a value add skills and you can start studying from 1st or 2 Year Onwards.

33. What is the Japanese level required for TITP Visa ?

37. Do you have Native Japanese Teachers from JAPAN ?

Yes. we do have Native Japanese teachers from Japan. They teach for N3 and N2 while Indian teachers are teaching for N5 and N4.

38. Why do the Engineers need to learn Japanese Language ?

In Japan, All the documents are in Japanese and Official Language is Japanese and All Japanese follow the conversation and communication in Japanese hence engineers or INDIANs going to Japan need to learn the language for communication and understanding the documents.

39.What is the timing of Full time courses and Part time courses

In General, Full time courses are Monday to Friday morning from 9 AM until 1.30 PM with a break of 15 minutes two times.
During the week end Part time courses, Saturday evening 6 PM to 8 PM and Sunday Morning 8 AM to 10 AM
There are some week days evening courses avaialable on daily basis for some members.

40. Does KCCS have any program for College Campus.?

KCCS has a Program called Japanese Campus Connect – JCC where we do conduct the proactive or reactive Training programs based on the need of the corporate or colleges.

41. What is the duration of the N5 and N4 courses in Colleges ?

N5 – 6 Months
N4 – 6 Months
N3 – 1 Year
